Get Bin Rotation Schedule"I found some really great clothing and ikea dishware for the low. P.S. I also copped a pair of damn near never worn ASICS for $1 in the bins. Definitely worth a visit if you have time to sift through heaps of miscellaneous items for a few hrs." - Mikael
"I like this location so I am willing to drive 35 minutes away for the good deals on the outlet section, however I feel like the store is over-priced- as are all the Dallas Goodwills (I am a frequent thrifter and these prices are too high comparatively). I don't like how they make you wait in one side while they put out new stuff- but I suppose that is a logistics problem. There are many very serious deal hunters ready to rush in and take over space to grab the best things fast. I don't care for this race, but the employees are nice and the deals can be good." - Jenny

"I like the prices here and the hunt. The staff is great. The only downside is those rude people that block the restrooms and act like they live there. Bring gloves and a mask. When the bins come out its go time( just don't lose an arm). Also I would advise not to take your kids. It gets hectic." - Mario
"First time visiting here, and I'm not sure what to make of it. You pay by the pound instead of per item. The customers you encounter are much like piranhas, or vultures. They post up on one end of the sales floor waiting for new bins to be rolled out. When that happens, they all rush to bins, and start shoveling anything and everything into storage containers. Then they shuffle back over to a corner and rifle through everything they just got, putting back anything they don't want. Be expecting to get cussed at. Ok items I guess. Seems mostly like stuff they wouldn't waste their time selling in the typical Goodwill." - Mark

Get Bin Rotation Schedule"The prices at goodwill bins is so reasonable, but with that being said, we really like going to south Austin location they seem to have some rules for shopping. We have never had a basket when we go, baskets are all taken buy resellers that park baskets up against walls . Keep in mind when you visit , I would wear gloves and a mask, because people are to close when you are looking, no social distancing unless you do it yourself . Be careful if you take a child looking in bins, we came across broken glass because people dig through bins and are not carful when handing things. The employees are very nice." - Blue
"I always find something good here--and a lot of the time, it's something new in original packaging. Avoid the weekends if you want to take your time and actually get a cart (though I haven't been able to get a cart in the past month or two). Yes of course things will be dirty, just wear gloves and be prepared to dig. This is the first place I go when I need a certain type of fabric for tablecloths/reupholstering/blankets/etc. You can also find tables and stools and small furniture in pretty good condition. Go for a browse and get creative! Things I've found: an 8x10 jute rug, a Free People dress, brand new tassel yellow pillow case & insert, butcher block cutting board, and still-wrapped IKEA shelves" - Madhu

"A friend and I came here to check out the deals. I've been to an Amazon-returns-bin-craziness- that was exciting fun, and the people running the store were awesome to talk to and helpful. THIS PLACE was the lowest of the lows!! I love a good deal. I love thrift shopping. When I go out of town, I probably will go thrift shopping. And some places aren't the prettiest nor cleanest. But this place felt like there was some sickness going around. When we first looked through the windows we were wide eyed by the mania. When we walked in, your view is carts upon carts filled to the brim with stuff, lined up against the wall, with someone guarding the cart. Then you have runners, going to and fro looking for stuff. We watched one lady just pick up a pair of pants laying in a bin, without looking at them, searching for the size. I mention this because it felt like a scavenger hunt in a dump. I tried to give it a shot and looked around even more but it felt like we were in a trash can so we left and felt disgusting afterwards. Who knows, maybe there was an insane deal that day or something but I'm never going in there again" - Isaac
"Great place if you like to dig for treasures in the bins! I can easily spend 4 hours in here and feel like I've been there for 1 hour. You will find something for everyone. Books, jewelry, dishes, blankets and sheets, car mats and wiper blades, shoes, jackets, furniture, well you get the idea, I won't list anymore lol but the list goes on and on. You pay by the pound for clothing and large items are usually a set price like $4.99 or something reasonable like that. You will always get a good deal here. The staff ladies at the registers are super nice and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile and kind word. If you are on a budget, this is the place to go." - Katie

"This is a Goodwill Outlet Store. It's the end of the line for merrchandise that doesn't sell at Goodwill Select Stores. I visited the store at 3:00 on a Monday afternoon. The place was a madhouse. Clothing is dumped into long bins and 100 people are picking through it at the same time. If you have a large family, are on a limited budget and have patience this is a great place to pick up bargains." - Rod

Not sure about the other complaints, but my mom really loves this new place, or any Goodwill outlet. I read her some comments about the lack of A/C, the heat, terrible parking lot. She said it's all true, but she still loves it because she can browse and find tons of great stuff for super cheap.
I was pleasantly surprised! Although it can get a little "peoply"! And by that I mean people will pull up right next to you and dig and through stuff around! My 1st day there parking lot packed too! Dress cool because it gets warm even though the huge fans in ceiling did a good job.

"Wish this location would enforce their rules and policies. Many people will take 3 to 5 baskets and fill them completely and then put a tarp or blanket over it. These people camp out for hours so you can never get a basket. I understand these people probably sell at flea markets but weird that the staff doesn't do anything other than announce things on the loud speaker that no one follows." - Mark

Get Bin Rotation Schedule"This place is a hostile place for new comers. The people who have been shopping over there fights for stuff and if you are a new person be sure to have a friend that has been shopping there for a long time. The people curse and fight and make fun of you. Most of the people do not even speak English and so if you try to explain to them some thing you are in bad luck. Seriously it is one of the worst places ever to be in and the workers side with the people they know who come over there from time to time. It is an unsafe place and the management seems to not care. It is strange that good will has this place so unsafe as it is against its own reputation. Whether it is outlet or not the people should be protected. I firmly believe that this is an injustice to all the people who are to be safe while they shop. It is too uncivilized. I please ask the management to take steps for the safety of the people. Please do not allow this unsafe practices with the customers who come to shop in there." - Philip
"I agree with some other reviewers that being here for the first time you would get a little horrified. Things are just packing on bins with questionable hygiene conditions. However, when I saw how they charge, I began to think this as a scavenger hunt so still a very interesting shopping experience. You kinda have to dig to find the stuff. I realized that charging by weights are not exactly that cheap if you look for heavy stuff like winter coats. The staff did organize the stuff into different bins, but overtime they got messed up. I found children' cloths are usually in better shape than adults. Also they do have newer stuff on home decorations (especially holiday ones), table cloth, sheets, and curtains. If you wanna buy affordable adults' cloths, I think there are better choice at this price." - Wen

Get Bin Rotation Schedule"This store is terrible. Their merchandise is dirty or worned out. Terrible manager as well. Clerk behind the cash register was upset that I bought some shoes that she was trying to hide for herself, so she bumped up the price. I should have left them, because the bebe heels fell apart when I got home. Dry rotted!!! I will never go to this outlet again." - Richard
"I recommend it? Yes, but you have to go with patience to search... if you have many things that are not really useful but searching if you can find things of interest to you... clothes and shoes cost 2.19 a pound and toys, decoration and bags cost 1.19" - Jeanet

Get Bin Rotation Schedule"I would give zero stars. Buyer beware, the cashier of the outlet store will follow you and tell you what you can and can not purchase eventhough you pull it from the bin on the sales floor. If he feels you have something that he wants or the workers have neglected to keep from the bins before the merchandise reaches the sales floor it will be taken from you and reason given - store policy. Nowhere else in another outlet store is a policy posted of purchases made at cashier discretion." - Carla
"Just went to the Goodwill outlet in Harker Heights tried to buy a footstool and a dresser and was told I couldn't buy it from there I had to wait until the main store opened in order to purchase then why in the world with the outlet store be holding furniture with price tags that I just bought a dresser from there this weekend without having to go to the main store if I could leave zero stars I would ." - Bridgette

Get Bin Rotation Schedule"I go every couple weeks and don't take this as serious as some other people who go religiously and sit there the whole day. Don't like the part when everyone sits and waits until new bins are rolled in and everyone rushes and grabs ish like crazy. Animal vibes. The problem is you gotta hustle if you're not smart and don't have brand knowledge and just look for Louis bags or Nike. But that's when I come in and take the good items others miss. For example today found a Stephen Dweck necklace that sold on eBay for $650, Ferragamo loafers, a Shamask linen coat etc. My advice is look through everything carefully and don't hesitate to look up brands you don't know- most likely you're missing out just buying mainstream brands." - X
"BRING RUBBER GLOVES!!! Do you really have what it takes to be a true treasure hunter? How about a second hand shop keeper? This is the Ultimate Ninja Games of the second hand economy. Come... see what marvels you can uncover from the giant blue bins that are rolled out by the staff. You will wait on the edge of your toes as fresh blue bins are rolled out. Like a kid hope up on pixie stix awaiting their turn on a new round of Duck Duck Gose... you dont want to miss these bins. Speed walk, dodge, dig and goble up as much stuff as you can carry in 3 minutes before you can bring in reinforcements with a buddy and a beat up shopping cart. It's real life HUNGRY HUNGRY HIPPOS!!! Must go just for the experience. Tons of fun!!! Jokes a side.. im aware for some folks this is their lifelyhood. Im not making fun, I do enjoy going to places like these to find trasures of my own. I also get to meet folks of all walks of life in places like these. We all have our reasons for being there. FYI please pay attention to the staff and listen to their instructions. They are doing their best to make sure it is a good experience for everyone. Do not be mean or get violent with other folks...it will get you banned from the store. Just be nice and have fun. You will not be allowed to stay without gloves. Make sure you bring them. With some patience, and TLC you can find some nice stuff here. Keep your eyes open. Its part of the hunt experience." - Ana

Get Bin Rotation Schedule"My five stars are for the employees who try and maintain some sense of civility in the store while being harassed, cursed out and physically threatened by the same group of customers over and over when they are asked to follow simple safety rules. The same people that other reviewers are criticizing (for doing their jobs) are the very reason I continue to shop at this location. They are kind, helpful, professional, and make me and my children feel safe when I'm here simply because they look out for the safety of everyone equally, even those that treat them and other shoppers so horribly. I've seen people like this group of regulars thrown out of other outlets for less offensive behavior than they display at the Cypress Outlet, and I hope the same thing happens to them before someone is seriously injured by their aggressive actions." - Elizabeth
"This particular place is so good and above all of the others I've ever been to I'm almost afraid to tell anyone as fear to them finding out and Even more competition Showing up but it is a very good no the best goodwill you ever go to the employees Especially the managers keep things regulated and still are super nice, the items coming out are incredible, and anyone can make a Living just at this one store. There are many examples but there's one here right now leaving a five star review I'll end with this I definitely recommend anyone giving this particular Goodwill outlet a try that is if you're not already there As my competition" - John
