DaaBIN Store - Cedar Falls, IA

This was my first visit to the store, the staff was very friendly and courteous from the moment i stepped in the door. And the music was banging, which made my browsing the bends even better. I purchased some books and some snack/meal prep containers at a very good price, same containers would have cost me about 20 bucks on Amazon. I will definitely will be going back again.

Not impressed with the quality of the items. I purchased a grab bag for $10.00 and it was literally trash. I opened the bag after I purchased it while still in the parking lot.Immediately I was disgusted and walked in to the store. There was a cold weather beanie in the bag that had mouse droppings, urine and several holes. A few rolled up cheap posters, broken plastic pieces, a canvas that was torn, rolls of receipt paper and a few more junk items. I spoke with the employee at the door. She saw the mess and pointed to the wall that there are no returns or refunds. I understood that a grab bag is a surprise and you don’t know what you will get, but this? Who sells trash and feces? Why would they knowingly put mouse poop and mouse eaten stuff in a bag and sell it? What kind of business people are ok with this? I left with the bag and threw it away. The other items purchased were thrown away today because they did not work correctly. I will not be back!! I also recommend other stores that have quality products.

The concept of the bin store is nice, but they are not friendly to those with little kids. I wanted to shop there with my infant twins and I was told by staff that strollers were not allowed. This store does not have carts. I was offered the "solution" of carrying my twins along with the shopping bags throughout the store. Unless you are fortunate enough to have a babysitter watch your kids while you're out shopping, avoid this store. Especially if you are a parent of twins or multiples.

DaaBIN Store - Cedar Rapids, IA

What can I say, the employees at Daabins Cedar Rapids/Marion are amazing. They have the best job, because they are always smiling. They keep the store amazing clean and orderly. I absolutely love digging in the bins, chatting with fellow customers and opening hidden treasures. They have everything you need and everything you don’t need! I am so happy I found this store. I have purchased blankets to resell, cleaning and house hold items to use at home and gifts for my family and friends. If you have been meaning to check out this store, don’t wait.. get over and check them out!

DaaBINS is by far my favorite store here in Cedar Rapids! I have been coming here once a week for about 5 months!!! I love it and the staff is so sweet! All the ladies are so kind and can help you with anything like it you need a box opened, etc. You can find just about anything you need here! They have soaps, clothing, curtains, and just about everything else! Saturday is my favorite, but the other days are great too! Come to DaaBINS because you will absolutely NOT regret it!!!

Having good items to sell will not make good business by itself. The tall with straight blond hair cashier or a worker does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin or anything else that makes someone look different does not treated with dignity and respect. This is a matter that is part of our freedom and our constitution that no one will compromise. I myself and others have been treated in a disrespectful way because of our religious background. And when I tried to explain to the lady Virginia there nicely and in a very polite manners what kind of disrespect we have been treated from this worker, she threatened me that she will call the POLICE because I argue with her. Honorable and respectful customers are getting treated at this place like school kids that will visit with the principle to be disciplined,or even like shoplifting People. I go to this store to buy and donate items for the unfortunate families in our community. I and all who are and were not been treated with respect, deserve a big apology from you guys as owners or simply stay out of business if you don't want to take respect the basics of human rights in this country. Thank you!

DaaBIN Store - Dubuque, IA

This place is amazing! Wish I knew about it sooner. Staff there are friendly, informative, helpful, and all out fun! This place is a definite treasure hunt for items that I’ve wanted or wish I could get that I didn’t think I could get, and at the most affordable prices is a definite win! There’s always something new each week, and at times it feels from day to day something new is found. I live in another state so I stay tuned to their live videos for not only featured items but the fun events they might do that definitely make me want to visit over and over. Had doubts at first but now im hooked. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everytime i go it feels like Christmas or hitting the jackpot. The experience is like no other and the prices will leave you constantly coming back. You will be able to find some of everything at the best price. Items for all ages a animals too. From books for college to complete birthday partyset ups. Be warned your going to love it!!!!!!!!

We love the wide selection of items. We seem to find some great steals on items we actually use. There is a lot to sift through and it can take awhile, but you're sure to be rewarded. The staff is also super friendly and helpful. We went early on Saturday morning and they did some small activities to help the time pass until store opening and a chance to earn some treats or door prizes.

River City Bins

There are two bin stores here in Mason City. Both are fun to dig for treasures. River City Bins location is harder to find, the store is smaller than the Da Bin store. But the treasures are just as good if not better. Go check it out!

You never know what you might find. Sometimes its the odd things you may have been needing but always forget to buy. Also the owners are very helpful and pleasant.

The Looney Bin Store

Well, ever wonder where all the returns from Amazon or other retailers end up? It's here! It's straightforward when you go there. Prices range from $1 on Tuesdays to $9 on Saturdays and $3 and $6. It's basically a search for whatever you want or need. They also run deals like winter coats at the end of the season and are half off. The variety is always changing, so if you see it, it may not be there if you don't get it. Everything is as is.

Most of the clothes are so scattered that you can’t find both pieces. Some interesting finds, but most stuff is overpriced and it’s all cluttered and stuff is so tangled up you can’t get it without untangling. The same stuff that’s been out has been there for 2-3 weeks. I’ve found some kids shoes and those were a great find. Other than that, kind of disappointing. Definitely think stuff should be more organized and easier to get to. Shoppers enjoy a clean and easy place to find items.

The love this place. I've been twice now, both times on Tuesday ($1 day). A few things I've purchased from here, all new: The Hobbit hardcover book, Guarddog figure skate guards, Target brand reed fragrance diffuser, LED willow branch lights, and houseplant stakes to name a few. It's definitely hit or miss and you do have to do some digging sometimes but that's part of the fun and no different than thrifting. Staff is also friendly.
